• Dedicated CPU:
  Powerful CPU for reliable embedded system operation. SOLO is one of the few Standalone DVRs on the market can operate Internet remote independent and 16CH Playback.  In other word, you can do remote viewing, remote playback, remote backup, remote configuration etc thru internet without affect the local viewing, local playback and local recording.   Before you buy the DVR, ask if their DVR is powerful enough to do remote independently.  Make sure the DVR can playback all 1, 4, 9 or 16CH at the same time. Some people are selling 16CH DVR which can only playback 1 or 4 CH at a time.  Their CPU is just too old and slow.

 

• Embedded LINUX OS on EPROM CHIP:
  The Embedded Operating System is loaded on a Solid State EPROM Chip Set. Can't be hack and crash like a PC based OS.  This is the Linux OS used on Industrial Control System not a PC version Linux.  If you ever need to replace or upgrade or add new hard drive, you don't need reload the OS.  The OS stays in the EPROM Chip not the hard drive.

 

• 16CH 240/480 Frame Real-time Video Record & Display:
  480fps Real time Live Display and 240 fps Recording Speed.  You can adjust recording quality, frame rate speed on each individual cameras according to your needs.

 

• 1CH Audio Input, 1 CH output, support internet remote audio:
  Yes, you can have live audio and playback over the internet.

 

• 1 x Main Monitor Composite output, 1 x VGA output, 1 x S-VIDEO:
  We offer VGA port as standard on this DVR, you can connect to a VGA LCD monitor without additional cost. This was a $50 option.

 

• 1 x Call Monitor Composite output:
  Useful If you need to connect a public display monitor which only display live video and won't play your recorded video to everyone.

 

• 2 USB 2.0 Port for backup storage and USB Mouse:
  One for included USB mouse, one for backup.

  This DVR has built-in DDNS service which updates your Dynamic IP address. Unlike other DVRs. Easy Dynamic IP support is included with our SOLO DVR. You don't have to signup or setup DNS service with another company.   All you have to do is enable DDNS and it will auto-logging onto Dynamic IP server. The initial update speed is only 15 seconds!  It works as soon as your enable it.

 

• NTP:
  This DVR has NTP feature which is a protocol designed to synchronize the clock over a network. This DVR can synchronize date and time with national standard time servers.

 

• DISK ID, S.M.A.R.T. functions, real-time disk health check with watchdog:
  Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology on your hard drives.

 

• Intensive security function by chosen AUTHORITY.
